It comes with a great running 2014 150 HP MERCURY EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) 4-STROKE Motor with Power Trim and Tilt on it that is in Excellent Condition. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get much much better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI outboard motors do not have chokes (that often flood engines) and they don't have any carburetors which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors have been one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used outboard motors for many years. This motor was recently thoroughly checked out and run by a Marine Mechanic. It had a new Water Pump installed and the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit were changed at the same time. It has been on several different lakes and in use during this summer and has been starting right up and running exceptionally well. This boat and motor were both manufactured in 2014 and this motor has been on this boat since they were both new. It has an Extra Large Built-In Gas Tank. We recently put a new battery in it.
